10,000 SF Retrofit for Global Shipping Company

Shipsticks’ headquarters at 324 Datura Street, downtown West Palm Beach, Florida

Not long after local real estate investor, The David Associates, purchased corner lot 324 Datura Street in downtown West Palm Beach, a high-end global shipping company became interested in a large portion of the property. The shipping company was Shipsticks, founded in 2011 on providing white-glove sporting-equipment shipments from one destination to the other.

The space in the new-to-The David Associates building which Shipsticks was interested in was a previously abandoned floor for over 10 years, so The David Associates needed to undertake a large project to renovate it.

REMCO undertook the contract to:

• add restrooms

• remodel elevator cab

• retrofit exit stairwells

• turn space into open, modern working environment

• created numerous executive offices for heavy tech users

Shipsticks has now been a long-standing tenant of The David Associates, and REMCO was honored to be a part of facilitating their space for success and continued growth.
